Using the grid, the child traces the symmetrical shape of the apples in relation to the axis. Since curved lines are more difficult to master, you can suggest that the student start by marking the important points on the grid and then connect them with the curved lines. Also, it's easier to start with the big apple in the center and then trace the other one. An answer sheet is provided.
